This unnamed character I created is motivated from Gaia-Online's Ninja headband item. The description of it says, "Imprinted with a mini wing, this band represents the mysterious Gaioh Ninja clan -- whose people were rumored to be dark angels sent to avenge the deeds of mankind."

Ooh! This seemed interesting to me. So I had to draw her. I had the outfit planned, and everything. That also explains the mini wing imprinted on the headband tied around her neck. I'm not so sure about her personality, but I'd rather keep her away from that "bubbly and cheerful" side. Although she's smiling, I felt like giving her an evil smirk.

Obviously the background isn't what I wished it could be, but I'm slowly learning with different textures and colors. I had no idea what to make so I did a waterfall - something I had more experience with. Originally I had her hair as black, I wonder if I should change it back or keep it brown. (It was dark brown at first, when I gave her highlights, it turned up unexpectedly more golden.) Also, she has no pupils on her eyes. XD That's because I wanted her eyes to resemble the Hyuga clan, as well as Ino. Unlike the Hyuga clan, hers is slightly more lavender and dark.

If you have any idea for what her name should be, comment here and let me know. :D I plan on drawing her more, as well as giving this mysterious girl a storyline background. Would be much easier for me to picture her more.

Done in a mixture of: OC painter, PSP7, and Corel Painter Essentials 2.

Wow, this is absolutely beautfiul. I've had this page open for a couple minutes already just to soak in every detail!

First of all, the colors compliment each other very well. I actually like the idea of golden brown hair over black since it creates contrast on the clothes and doesn't make her so dark. Also, the hair color somehow ties her in with her naturey surroundings, so I like even more. The pose is unique and well done and the clothing is very elaborate and detailed and it just looks good in general, partly because you pull off your unique shading style awesomely.

The background is very nice! The actual planty type stuff looks prettty good, though you might want to get some custom brushes for leaves and plants to add more depth to the shrubbery. I know how hard getting textures for outdoorsy stuff can be but you did a great job! Let me tell you, those waterfalls are gorgeous!

An excellent picture and a great job! A must fav!

Actually, I didn't even notice that it came out that long... but now that I look at it... Wow, yeah. ^^ Oh well, it's a great pic and worth the time.

Wow, this one is gorgeous! I think I agree with what AbsoluteRuler said, but I would add that her right arm seems a tad bit long in the wrist area, and that her legs look kinda stretched too. Other than that, it's really beautiful! ^__^

Hi!

Absolutely stunning. I think it was wise to keep her hair the color it is. If you had changed it to black then everything would have blended in too much. The outfit design is awesome, I love the little detailing on her sleeves! Her right arm is off, and the way she is holding the fan, her wrist shouldn't be bending like that.
The background is spectacular. The waterfall flows very nicely and adds some visual interest that just brings your eye back to the character. The green foliage also accents your character. Something about the green just makes it pop out more... although, I think I would have given her a green eye color... I personally think it might suit more. But purple is nice too...
I'm trying to think of a good name for her, but I just keep thinking Rayne/Reine. XD I think it really suits her, although I'm not sure if you want your name on her... or have her name start with an "A". XD I dunno, that's just the vibe I'm getting from her.

Even in minature, in your gallery, that picture caught my eye. I just had to maximize it.
